    【 Fossil Fuels 】

Fossil fuels refer to combustible minerals that are gradually formed from the remains of ancient organisms under specific geological conditions through long-term complex changes. They are non-renewable energy sources. Fossil fuels mainly include petroleum, natural gas, and coal. When burned, fossil fuels release a large amount of carbon dioxide, which is one of the main causes of climate change.

Marine fossil fuels primarily consist of liquid fossil fuels and gaseous fossil fuels. The Liquid fossil fuels mainly include petroleum products such as diesel fuel, heavy fuel oil, and crude oil. The Gaseous fossil fuels primarily refer to natural gas, especially liquefied natural gas (LNG).

  • Marine Diesel Oil

Marine Diesel Oil, another name is Marine diesel fuel, DMB and DFB. Its is supplied as heavy distillate (designation ISO-F-DMB) exclusively for marine applications. It is made from crude oil and may contain synthetic components (e.g. BtL, CtL, GtL and HVO). It must be free of organic acids and non-mineral oil products.

  • HFO

HFO, also known as “residual fuel oil”, is based on the high viscosity, tar-like mass, which remains after the distillation and subsequent cracking of crude oil in order to produce lighter hydrocarbon products, such as petrol , distillate diesel fuels and

  • Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG)

Natural gas, a fossil fuel composed of mostly methane, is one of the cleanest burning alternative fuels. It can be used in the form of compressed natural gas (CNG) or liquefied natural gas (LNG) to fuel power generation, ship and vehicles.
